FAQs
What time does the festival start?
The festival gates open at midday on the Friday. The festival will end at 11 pm on the Saturday evening. Live entertainment starts at 12:30pm on both days and will end at 11 pm on both days.
Is there parking?
We have ample (free) parking in the field adjacent to the festival site. Parking will be signposted, with marshalls to help. If you plan to stay late, please bring a torch to help you find your car in the dark.
Is the site wheelchair accessible?
The site is mostly grass, flat with no narrow entrances or exits. The parking and campervan fields will be stubble from the recent harvest. We also have disabled toilets available on the festival site.
Will there be drinks other than beer?
As well as amazing local craft beers and ales, there will also be a great selection of cider, lager, wine, spirits and soft drinks for sale via cashless payment.
What sort of crafts will there be?
We are excited to be joined by a blacksmith, potter, watercolour painter, basket weaver, community artists and wood carving. Most of the craft stations will allow you to participate for a small fee. The crafts are a big part of our festival, so make sure you book your slot on one of the sessions as soon as you arrive!
Is there camping available?
Yes, there is! We have a campsite with standard facilities (toilets and drinking water) located a 2-minute walk from the main festival site. There is also a separate camping area for campervans, and for those campers who wish to carry on socialising after 11:00 pm.
More details available on the camping page.
Are dogs allowed?
Other than Assistance Dogs, no dogs are allowed at the festival.
How do I find the festival?
The festival takes place on Compton Recreation Field on the southern edge of Compton Village, West Sussex, PO18 9EX. What3Words ///inclined.hotspots.stall
What if it rains?
Well, we have asked for it not to rain. But if does, we have ample cover within our main marquee tent, plus many of the food and craft folks have their own tents/gazebos.
How do I pay for food and drink?
We will be operating a cashless system for all purchases so please bring your credit card with you.
Are there toilets?
Yes, there are - we will have several portable toilets located on the festival site (including accessible toilets) and also on the camping sites.
Are there places to sit?
There will be several tables and benches located around the festival site, as well as hay bale benches. However, please feel free to bring blankets and camping chairs with you.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Soft drinks are allowed to be taken onto the festival site. Please do not bring your own alcohol, as this is not permitted.
What sort of music will be playing?
This year we have an even greater variety of music. With two stages there will always be something to listen to - ranging from the UK’s top Queen tribute band to an African Choir! See the lineup page for more info.
